Fluoride Varnish

Fluoride varnish is a simple and effective preventive treatment that helps protect children’s teeth from cavities. Even with good brushing and flossing habits, some children are more prone to tooth decay due to diet, bacteria, or naturally weaker enamel. Fluoride strengthens tooth enamel, making teeth more resistant to acid and bacteria that cause cavities.

During a fluoride varnish treatment, a thin protective coating is gently applied to the surface of the teeth using a small brush. The varnish quickly hardens when it comes into contact with saliva, allowing it to stay on the teeth and provide continued protection. The entire process takes only a few minutes and is comfortable for children of all ages.

Regular fluoride treatments, combined with good oral hygiene and routine dental visits, can significantly reduce the risk of cavities. This preventive care helps strengthen developing teeth and supports long-term oral health as children grow.
